What We Do

WELCA  (Women of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) is our women’s group at Trinity.  All of the women of Trinity Lutheran Church are members, and friends and guests are welcome to our gatherings.  We take pride in planning a variety of meetings and events that are faith-based, informative, and a blend of fun and fellowship. WELCA typically meets one Monday per month throughout the school year — see our calendar on the home page for details.

Men of the Trinity congregation meet for food, fellowship, and faith. Transporation is provided for those who need it. The Men’s Breakfast takes place on a Saturday morning approximately once every six to eight weeks — see calendar on the home page for details.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month. All are welcome to join us to knit or crochet, and bond in friendship and compassion to help others. Don’t know how to knit? No problem! We’ll show you how!

Holy Grounds Café is a self-sustaining ministry, by, for, and supported by the members of Trinity. A donation of $1 per person allows the café to provide a snack and coffee after each weekly service.

Family Faith Night is a faith-formation experience oriented toward families with younger (approx. age 3-10) children. FFN takes place periodically throughout the school year on Saturday evenings from 5:00 – 6:00pm.  The evening begins with a “dinner church” type of worship service—we worship (scripture, prayers, a song) while we share a pot-luck meal together, during which we also share holy communion. We then have a hands-on creative craft or project to engage ourselves actively in God’s word.  See our calendar on the home page for details.

Under the direction of Patricia Berberich and her team of dedicated volunters, our Sunday School has been teaching Trinity’s youngest members about God’s love for us since 1984. Sunday School meets each Sunday at 10:30am. The Sunday School year runs from September through June.
